A gifted and prolific pianist, Ron Johnston was inspired by Canadian jazz pianist Tommy Banks and later studied with the “Maharaja of the keyboard” Oscar Peterson. He has worked and recorded with many great musicians including Paul Horn and Moe Koffman, and was a founding member of the influential jazz-fusion band Pacific Salt. Performing with Cameron Hood bass, Buff Allen drums.
