Venu tout droit de Fullerton, au sud de la Californie, le trio Gap Dream a ingénieusement trouvé son nom. Entre « fossé rêveur » et « rêve profond », aucune traduction exacte n’est admise, seule une interprétation personnelle est possible... Même situation du côté de la musique.

Signé sur l’excellent label indé américain Burger Records (Pure X, Mozes and the Firstborn, Cherry Glazer, Jacco Gardner…), le projet se décrit ainsi sur les réseaux sociaux : « I’m a burger alien ». Véritable ovni musical, on ne doute pas un instant que Gap Dream vienne effectivement d’une autre planète.
