CTC is proud to present our first Guest Speaker event for the Fall 2014 Semester at Pasadena City College! Everyone is welcome, just bring your brilliant brains!

Guest Speaker: Dr. Ronjaunee Chatterjee (UCLA)

The topic is entitled
"FROM ALICE TO DORA: THE VICTORIAN GIRL & THE ORIGINS OF PSYCHOANALYSIS"

Here's what Chatterjee said she'll be discussing:

"I'm hoping to discuss a little bit about girlhood in contemporary culture as well (ie. Riot Grrrl) in order to think about why the subject of the girl is so important and enigmatic for psychoanalysis in particular, and for modern (since the 19thC) literature and philosophy in general."
