Named after the band's lead singer, Sorour is distinguishable by Mohamed Sorour's resonant voice and the sound of traditional Arabic folk music fused with influences from around the world.
Hawidro, meaning 'the return' in Nubian, take their audience back to Mother Africa with multiple influences from the region, which they combine with international sounds, making them the unique band that they are.
