Saturday 16 January. Shifting of mats (8am loading for some in the city), and subsequent 9 am laying of Judo mats at 47-69 Sheppards Street, Gordonvale.

We are shifting Judo mats from Cairns City storage to our Gordonvale facility.

Current plans are to use 4 car/trailors in the city to each take 20 mats (approx 500kg each 20 mats). Begin loading at 8am in the city. Drive down to the Gordonvale judo facility for 9 am start to unloading and laying of mats.

Many hands will make light work as each mat will require two people to carry in order to minimise damage. Mostly necessary at the unloading/laying end of the operation.

If anyone is able to lend a hand with off-loading and laying of mats on Saturday morning (9am start), please let us know (private message, post in comment section or email).

An open invitation has been sent out to all members of Southside Judo club by both social media and by email.
