Recently featured on Countryfile the club has negotiated a members trip up to Calverton Fish Farm where the E.A. breed and produce a range of river fish. The club has benefited from thousands of young barbel being introduced at Sharnbrook and Radwell from this facility and June is one of their busiest months. Starting with a quick Powerpoint presentation the group will then have a conducted tour of the day to day operations.

The presentation starts at 5.00 pm. so allow a couple of hours journey time. Depending on the level of interest we can perhaps arrange for some car sharing. It's appreciated that for those that work the timings are not brilliant but for those that are interested it maybe worth taking the afternoon off!

In the first instance write to [email protected] and we will start a list. For this particular day we are capped to around 18. If we are over-subscribed we will see if there are places on any other dates.
