HKSA – Hong Kong Students’ Association was founded and operated by a group of enthusiastic undergraduate students, with a purpose to provide students with opportunities to learn about the rich culture of Hong Kong and connect with new individuals who also share the same interests. We are unique in that we are not only a social club, but a club that provides career, business, and a charity perspective. HKSA has it all. It is our vision and goal to provide UBC students with the best 4 years of their life through our events, opportunities, and energy! We know the importance of a well-balanced university life and that is exactly what we promise you will gain out of membership at our club. Who are we looking for?
As a student organization that focuses on people, we are looking for the most outgoing, energetic, and motivated individuals who foster a strong team spirit. Your flexibility will play an important role when you work with a diverse team within your department and also when you collaborate with other departments. Finally, we are looking for individuals who will demonstrate leadership and the willingness to learn. We are constantly working closely with our executives to prepare them for the role of becoming a Director in the following year. Then, after a year of leading a team as a Director, you will have the opportunity to lead the club as one of the TOP 6.
