They say all good things come to an end...but seriously not this! The Young'Uns have been a consistent staple here at The Blue Grotto for 10 years. They qickly became THE band that people couldn't wait to see. We were deeply saddned to hear Don and Shane were leaving, just as sad as we felt when Brad left. Life should come first as I think we the fans forget they all have "day" jobs, kids and spouses. These guys played almost every weekend out of the year, now its time to hit the reset button and relax for a bit. Tim and Brad will continue into their 27th year as The Youns'Uns and I'm confident it will be just as wicked as ever. We didnt get a lot of time to know Shane, but he stepped in and was a fast fit. Don...definetly one in a million. Anyone that watches this guy play is in awe. Never misses a beat, nails the vocals everytime all while his eyes are closed..unreal.
So Kamloops, lets give these guys the send off they deserve. We are so honored that their last gig together will be at The Grotto. We will not be selling tickets for this show, $5 cover at the door. But get there early, it will sell out :)
