Queensryche-Ikone und Sänger Geoff Tate wird sich am 15. Dezember 2015 im Rockhouse Salzburg mit Namen wie John Moyer (Disturbed), Simon Wright (ex-AC/DC), Kelly Gray (Queensryche), Scott Moughton (Geoff Tate) und Randy Gane (Myth) die Bühne teilen. In dieser Konstellation werden sie das legendäre namenstiftende „Operation: Mindcrime“ Album von Queensryche zur Gänze und natürlich die neuen Stücke des Projekts performen.

Geoff Tate wurde bereits in den 1990er Jahren als einer der größten Frontmänner im Metal-Genre gefeiert. Der innovative US-amerikanische Sänger verkaufte mit Queensryche weit über 25 Millionen Alben und wurde 3 Mal für einen Grammy nominiert. Unter dem Banner Operation: Mindcrime geht die musikalische Reise von Geoff Tate weiter. Zusammen mit weiteren ebenso kongenialen Musikern, erschien 2015 das Debütalbum «The Key» - ein Sammelsurium mit abwechslungsreichen Tracks, die allesamt dynamischen, innovativen Metal preisgeben.

„Operation: Mindcrime“ ist nicht nur der Name eines der wohl wichtigsten Rock-Alben, sondern auch der Name der neuen Band von ex-Queensryche-Frontmann Geoff Tate. In 30 Jahren am Ruder von Queensryche hat Geoff Tate mehr als 25 Millionen Platten verkauft. Queensryche wurden drei mal für einen Grammy und fünf mal für den MTV Music Video Award nominiert und gewannen den MTV Viewer’s Choice Award für das Video zu „Silent Lucidity“. Der Song ist auch heute noch weltweit im Radio zu hören. Operation:Mindcrime ist eines der wichtigsten Alben der Metalszene. Geoff Tate erzählte 1988 auf diesem Konzept Album seiner damaligen Band Queensryche die Geschichte eines Mannes, der sich, frustriert über die amerikanische Gesellschaft, einer Untergrundorganisation anschließt, um Anschläge auf korrupte Politiker auszuüben. Nach der Trennung von Queensryche entschied sich Geoff Tate ein dreiteilges Konzept Album mit einer noch komplexeren Story als der des Kultalbums Operation:Mindcrime zu erschaffen. Politik, Weltwirtschaft, sozialer Ethos stehen im Fokus des Operation:Mindcrime Universums.

Auf dem Album werden außerdem Gastauftritte von David Ellefson (Megadeth) und Scott Mercado (Candlebox) zu hören sein. The Key ist der erste Teil einer epischen musikalischen Trilogie von der Ikone Geoff Tate. Es ist das Debüt-Album unter dem neuen Banner Operation: Mindcrime. Eine kreative Plattform, welche den Spirit des historischen gleichnamigen Albums fortführt. WOLFEN RELOADED

Wolfen Reloaded stehen für progressiven melodischen Rock.
Die Wurzeln der Band liegen zwar im Hardrock der 80iger und 90iger Jahre aber seit der Reunion 2009 mit einem neuen Drummer hat man versucht auch neue Einflüsse in die Songs einzubauen.

Wolfen Reloaded hat auf zahlreichen Events und Festivals gespielt. Unter anderem im Rockhouse Salzburg, im Münchener Backstage Club und Halle, beim Chiemsesumer Festival 2014, im Cult Rockclub Garage Deluxe in München und beim Friends of Metal Festival in Surheim an der Seite von Bonfire, Axxis und Pink Cream 69. 2015 waren sie als Support im Rockhouse Salzburg vor The Brew.

FIRE & WATER (IR)

Fire and Water is comprised of a young couple, Tomás McCarthy and Clódagh Kearney, whose genre-bending, multi-instrumentalist leanings have taken Cork city by storm in recent months. As individual artists and as Fire and Water, they have supported acts such as The Minutes, Jack L, Leslie Dowdall, Gavin Glass, Royseven, Gareth Dunlop, The Frank and Walters, Mick Flannery, Jerry Fish, The Stunning, Kíla and many more, in venues and theatres nationwide. In fact, their year-and-a-half long romance has seen them tour Spain and Ireland extensively, with plans to tour parts of South Africa, America and Europe in 2015.

Their debut EP, titled ‘Cocoon’, is a concept piece which chronicles the couple’s time together and their shared experiences.

This EP sees them accompanied by a 10-piece 'Commitments'-style troop of local musicians.
