Welcome to the PSU Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Club Facebook Page!
Club training sessions will be Tuesdays and Thursdays 1:30-4:30 PM in room 430 in the ASRC (Academic and Student Recreation Center).
The Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) class offered by the Portland State University PE department is a great supplement to the club sessions, but it isn't required for access to the club. No formal experience or skill is necessary to join.

Club dues are $50 per term or $25 per term if concurrently enrolled in the BJJ class offered by the PE department. All fees go towards the club.
A gi is required for training traditional BJJ. Although no-gi may become a possibility in the future, for now it is highly recommended that everyone have their own gi. There are many options when purchasing a gi, and the internet can be a very helpful resource. We have Gameness gis for sale through the instructor of the BJJ class as well. These are very high quality, IBJJF approved, and sold at a discounted price to PSU students.
Extra protection such as mouth guards are not required but they can be used.
