The Sweetchunks Band

The Sweetchunks Band is a Southampton based Steampunk themed Folk/Blues outfit. Featuring: Stuart Blakeledge on vocals and banjo, Ash Lines on Bass, Mike Wiles on Guitar and Charlie Brown on percussion.

Sweetchunks play an interesting blend of Traditional Folk, Blues, Chaphop and drinking anthems, using funky Bass, Banjo, cajon and “Mike” to create “BBCMike” a fun and exciting new audio visual drinking experience.

Having played many festivals across the UK, including Something else in the Dean (Gloucestershire), Wonkey Donk (Dorset), Alchemy festival (Lincolnshire), Watchet (Somerset) Bearded Theory (Derbyshire) and Beautiful days (Devon), Sweetchunks have experience playing in front of both large crowds and small, intimate (drunken) gatherings in public houses across our fair land.

Since their inception, Sweetchunks have supported acts including Hobo jones and the junkyard dogs, Professor Elemental, Ferocious dog and The Beards.
