Advance your library research skills with the Department of Psychology’s very own liaison librarian, Emily Kingsland!
Some of the specialized topics covered in this session will include:
Search techniques for article searching in important psychology databases;
Locating theses with rich bibliographies and other tricks to find grey literature;
Determining if a journal is peer-reviewed;
Getting your hands on materials that McGill Library doesn’t have;
Advanced search tricks using Google Scholar;
And much more!
Students are encouraged to bring their own laptop or tablet in order to follow along. All Psych students are welcome!
