The last Mod Club...

This coming Sunday, January 31st, 2016 will be the last Mod Club at Babylon Nightclub.

Over the last 12 epic years, DJs Gaz & Emmett have shared their combined blood, sweat & tears (literally!) to bring Ottawa the night it deserves.

We have served the underserved, the misfits and the malcontents, the individuals, the weirdos and the wallflowers.

We believed and continue to believe that you, the kids (are alright!), deserve better. We took it upon ourselves to be your voice, to provide you with a home where you can get together with other like-minded people to enjoy a higher standard of music. We believed in you and you proved us right!

You have danced and partied with us for over 600 weeks in a row! That's epic! Who does that? Mod Club!

You have made lifetime friendships, met your life-partners, proposed marriage on our stage, become parents, and said goodbye to friends, all with us. We love you and are incredibly honoured!

But all things must pass, all things must pass away.

This Sunday will be the final Mod Club at Babylon. We would like to thank all the staff at the club for their friendship and hard work, including the numerous top-notch sound technicians who've made us sound so much better than we really are, Yogi, Justin, Paul, Mike, and Alex! You guys are legends in your own right and we salute you!

We would also like to thank all the talented guest DJs we've shared the stage with including, Jas Nasty, Alex Edwards, Ray Ray, Trevor Walker, Ben Shulman, Patrick Foisy, Marty Emanuel, Johnny Vegas, Jose, Rebecca, Cal, Devin, Kelly, Ian....

Not to mention all the bands we've shared the stage with including, The English Beat, The High Dials, Ted Leo, The Hornettes...

So please come out this Sunday and share with us one last Mod Club! It's gonna be epic! We've got our good friend VJ Matt Cameron back to splash the stage with his glorious video projections one last time! Thank you Matt for all your work!

If you're still reading this, THANK YOU! And, note this is the last Mod Club at Babylon, but we haven't said this is the "final" Mod Club!
