Jokes Please! is an award-winning stand-up comedy show that happens every week at LMG.

When leaving the country you are supposed to get travel shots. But why? Can’t they just give the shots to the mosquitos directly? Sometimes the medical person will try to upsell you on shots:

Health Practitioner: “Do you want a shot for Yellow Fever?”

Rube: “Uhhhhhh, should I want one?”

HP: “How about Dengue, would you like a Dengue with that?”

Rube: “I’m just going to Portland.”

HP: “So you’ll be taking the gamut! $897 please. Also, you can’t use your arm for a week, you’ll get the flu, side effects may include nightmare, night fevers, night terrors, insomnia, crippling depression and a horrible trip. SAFE FLIGHT!”
