We are hosting the absolute beginners Balboa workshop at the Lincoln Christ's Hospital School. We are lucky to have the fantastic guest teachers Graham and Helen to come and teach us. The times are from 2pm till around 5pm and its the usual £8 per person. No experience or partner needed for this workshop so if you want to learn another dance to do to swing and 40s music then this is the one for you! It will be jam packed with all the basic footwork you need and some simple moves to get you on the dance floor. Balboa was one of the most popular dances of the day because it could be done on the crowded dance floors where space was very limited! Check out videos on YouTube for a taste of what it was like! There will be the usual free tea, squash and biscuits as well.
