Chris (aka Klassik Black) has been involved in the entertainment industry for most of his life. After studying guitar and piano at a very young age, Chris played in a number of bands in the 70's and also performed as a solo act. In the 90's he utilised his talents as a DJ, game show host, compere and voice over artist. He has worked with Garry Sweet, recording artist Chris Franklyn and Carlotta. He has performed as guest artist at Jupiters Casino Gold Coast (QLD) Seagulls Night Club (QLD) Birswood Casino (WA) and Ettalong Beach Club NSW. Performed internationally on cruise ships in Hawaii, Alaska and Europe. He formed Klassic Blak in 2000 and has enjoyed great success to the current day. Chris has a big local reputation with a big sound, impressive stage set and light display, high energy dance party show. He has a huge range of Classic Hits covering 40 years of great music. His versatility ensures something for everyone from love songs and ballads, a splash of country, rock & roll and of course classic rock.

Chris is dedicated to entertaining the audience. His experience working with live bands, in cabaret style one man stage performances, show bands, piano lounge bars, recorded music backings, electric and acoustic guitars makes him a very versatile performer. He is currently performing as lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist with the rock & roll band , Midnight Drifters.
