Céilí by the Lee continues to warm hearts, and bodies; every Monday at 19:30 in Crane Lane. Join us, and learn the gentle and noble art of traditional Irish social dancing!
The evening doubles as an introduction to céilí dancing and a full body immersion in traditional Irish culture. We warm up by learning the basic steps, then use those as ingredients in a group dancing. ..cake? Metaphors can be taken too far. Anyway, if you'd like to meet new people in Cork, experience Irish culture, do some light exercise, and of course: learn to dance, then come along!
Our venue is Cork's finest, the Crane Lane Theatre, with a dance floor big enough to accommodate the most exuberant dancer, and a range of refreshments big enough to sate them!
