Cairns Judo - Southside Judo Club Australia will be participating in the Grand Parade! With this year's parade theme being "Celebrating Our Cultural Diversity", our little Judo club will identify the cultural backgrounds of it's growing youth based membership. Celebrating the inclusive nature of our club, our walking parade group will follow a 3 meter long “Judo For All” banner. We will also be carrying striking banners that promote our clubs values of Courage, Politeness, Respect, Honour, Modesty, Friendship, Sincerity and Self-Control in both Japanese and English language which serves to identify the Japanese roots of Judo. Such a pleasure for us to take part in and support the Cairns Regional Council's major annual event, the Festival of Cairns.
