Body is back after a slight break for our first outing in Glasgow at the mighty Stereo. We had some pretty special times in Edinburgh with guests including Amir Alexander and Jane Fitz, alongside good friends such as Phil Kearney and Joseph Clarke. While we hope this isn’t the end for us there, for now Glasgow is our new home. Inaugurating our shift to the West is Laurine, one of the finest diggers and DJs to emerge from Berlin’s fertile scene in recent years.

Rising to prominence initially as one of the co-founders of Slow Life, Laurine has cemented herself as one of the most revered selectors in a new generation of DJs, loosely centred around Berlin (and affiliated with Club Der Visionaere where she is a regular guest), all of whom are renowned for meticulous quality control when it comes to what goes in their record bags. She has built a reputation for playing sets characterised by obscure records, spanning the range of electronic music, whilst maintaining a focus on the dance floor.

Alongside her prowess as a DJ, Laurine is also 1/5 of the Slow Life collective who have been releasing some of the most exciting music we have heard in recent years - from unearthing new material by the legendary SeaFoam, to breaking new producers such as Mick Welch and their own S. Moreira. She has been on our radar for some time (since we heard the breathtaking ‘We Are All Fra!' ep on Slow Life) and we’re pretty excited to be able to welcome her to oversee proceedings at our Glasgow housewarming.
