Céilí by the Lee is a traditional Irish social gathering, every Monday at half past seven in Cork's Crane Lane Theatre. Join us to learn the magic of traditional Irish dancing in a traditional setting - a pub.
We begin each week with the basic steps, before moving on to the more advanced and exciting group dances. Beginners are welcome, and no partner is required - our MC is renowned for turning two left feet into a matching pair!

It's hard to be all things to all people, but at Céilí by the Lee we try our best, offering an immersion in traditional Irish culture, the chance to meet and make new friends in Cork, mild exercise, and of course - dance instruction.

Our venue is the Crane Lane Theatre, Cork's finest bar, with a fine hardwood floor for dancing. Regular breaks ensure the thirsty dancer can sample the wide range of local and imported refreshments at the bar!
