Céilí by the Lee is a traditional Irish social gathering, taking place each Monday at half past seven in Crane Lane. Every week is a different experience, but some things remain the same. We always start by covering the basic steps, it's always an authentic immersion in Irish culture, and it's always a great way to meet new people in Cork.

It's currently Seachtain na Gaeilge, the national Irish language celebration, so this week we'll be adding some Irish words and phrases to the teaching. However, you don't have to be able to speak Irish, you don't need to be able to dance, and you don't need a partner!

Our venue is Cork's greatest bar, the inimitable Crane Lane Theatre, home to a huge dance floor, and an even huger range of drinks to refresh the weary dancer!
